about

Return to Saturn is the third full length album from Craig M Rosenthal aka CMR. The album is distinctly different in every way from past releases as it features heavy electronic and industrial soundscapes to weave a science fiction concept. The mastering also shadows this as the raw and ugly sounds of the last albums are gone, in place are beautiful and crisp sounds to send the listener into a trance of ethereal noises and industrial/electronic madness.

The album was put together over the course of nearly 2 years. Production began soon after the release of Through Landscapes of Subconscious Nightmare in November 2018. About 20 original songs were created over the period of about a year before CMR settled on 8 distinct songs that he felt represented a cohesive concept. These songs went through heavy editing and mastering before arriving on this release.

All of us involved with this albums production hope you enjoy this bizarre yet beautiful album. We hope you experience as much love as we all put into its production.

As such, expect many different styles and experiments. I hope you find something here you will not find elsewhere. ... more
